Products
Everything customers can order from your online order page. Products on the For sale step are on the page; move one to Not for sale to take it off.
The process
Every product moves down these steps in order.

Step by step
The documentation below ships with the template. It is what your team reads on the step itself while they are doing the work, not a manual filed somewhere else.
- 01
For sale
On the online order page right now.
Required before the job can move on
- Name
- Price
Also on this step, but optional: Description, Photo, GST applies.
Purpose
Every product on this step is on your online order page, at the price shown here.
What to fill in
Name is what the customer sees. Keep it short: "Flat white", "Sourdough loaf".
Price is what the customer pays, including GST, in dollars (e.g. 4.50).
Description is optional: one line about size, ingredients or what's included.
Photo is optional but sells. The first JPG, PNG or WebP image is used.
GST applies: leave it ticked or blank for normal items. Untick it for GST-free items (some basic foods, for example), so the invoice splits GST correctly.
Rules
A product with no price is left off the order page rather than sold for nothing.
Changing a price here changes it on the order page straight away. Orders already paid keep the price they were paid at.
- 02
Not for sale
Kept, but not on the order page.
Required before the job can move on
- Name
Purpose
Products you don't sell right now: sold out, seasonal, or retired. They stay here with their history and price, and come back by moving them to For sale.
