Boilerplate
StreamsApp is a CRM built from streams, for small businesses whose customer relationship is a process rather than a pipeline. Every process gets its own stream of steps, fields and rules, and any step can refuse to let a job move on until the work is actually done: the field filled in, the file attached, the quote sent, the invoice paid. Quotes, invoicing with GST, email, SMS, WhatsApp and Xero are built in. StreamsApp was founded in 2025 by Luke Harpin in Mountain Creek, Queensland, is hosted in Sydney, and has a free plan with every plugin switched on.
Descriptions
The name is always written StreamsApp, one word, never just Streams.
Short (about 160 characters)
A CRM built from streams. Every process gets its own steps, fields and gates, and one record follows the customer through them all. Quotes, invoices and Xero built in.
Medium (about 450 characters)
StreamsApp is a CRM built from streams, for small businesses whose customer relationship is a process rather than a pipeline. Every process gets its own stream (sales, onboarding, repair jobs, progress claims) with its own steps, fields, documentation and rules, and one record follows the customer through all of them. A step can refuse to let a record move on until a field is filled, a file attached, a quote sent or an invoice paid. Quotes, invoicing, email, SMS, WhatsApp and Xero built in. Free plan, hosted in Australia.
Long (about 1,400 characters)
StreamsApp is a CRM built from streams, for small businesses whose customer relationship is a process: builders, repairers, manufacturers, claims handlers, service businesses and multi-site operators. Most CRMs are built around one shape: contacts, deals and a pipeline that ends at Closed Won. StreamsApp starts from the other end. Every process gets its own stream, with its own steps, fields, written documentation and rules, and there is no limit on how many you run. A sales pipeline is a stream. So is customer onboarding, a repair job or a progress claim against a build. They all point at the same contacts, and one record can be carried from stream to stream so the full customer history reads end to end. The difference is the gate. Any step can refuse to let a record move on until the work is genuinely done: a required field filled in, the certificate attached, the quote actually sent, the invoice actually paid. Nothing is required until you say so, one step at a time, so a compliance stream can insist on evidence while a sales enquiry in the same account lets everything straight through. Everything the customer needs sits on the same record. Quotes and invoices with GST and PDFs, email, SMS and WhatsApp with replies threaded back onto the record, OCR that reads a scanned document, tasks, notes and a full audit trail, with Xero keeping invoices and payments in step. Every plan includes every plugin, and a free account pauses token use rather than billing you when it runs out. Built and hosted in Australia: records, files, backups and document scanning all stay in Sydney.

Founder
StreamsApp is built and run by Luke Harpin, on his own, from Mountain Creek in Queensland.
“I’ve worked across legal, politics, engineering and tech; every CRM I used forced my team to work around its structure. After years of bending our processes to fit someone else’s template, I built Streams to work the other way around.”Why StreamsApp exists

Phone (preview): a business number that knows your customersWhen a customer rings your Streams number, it rings in Streams with their name and a link straight to their record, so you know who it is before you say hello. Miss the call and they hear a greeting by name, and their voicemail lands on their record with a written transcript and a short summary, transcribed here in Australia. Get your own Australian number from Settings, Phone for $25 a month. Calls and voicemails are free during the preview.
