Step by step

The documentation below ships with the template. It is what your team reads on the step itself while they are doing the work, not a manual filed somewhere else.

  1. 01

    New order

Paid online and waiting to be made up.

Also on this step, but optional: Customer, Order items, Order total, Fulfilment, Delivery address, Phone, Order notes.

    Purpose

A customer has ordered and already paid by card. The paid invoice is on the record, and the money is in your Stripe account.

    Tasks

    1. Read Order items and Order notes.

    2. Check Fulfilment: Pickup, or Delivery to the Delivery address.

    3. Save to move it on to Preparing when you start on it.

    Tip

Add an automation on this step to email the customer a confirmation, or to alert whoever makes up orders.

  2. 02

    Preparing

    Being made up or packed.

    Purpose

Someone is making up the order. Move it on as soon as it's ready, so the customer can be told.

  3. 03

    Ready

Ready for pickup, or out for delivery.

    Purpose

The order is ready to collect, or on its way.

    Tip

An automation here (an "Order ready" email to the Customer) tells the customer without anyone typing it.

  4. 04

    Completed

    Collected or delivered.

    Purpose

The customer has their order. Nothing left to do.

    Refunds

Refunds are made in your Stripe dashboard. Add a note here saying why, so the record and the money agree.
