Organisation settings
Manage your organisation's profile, display name, company logo, who hears about customer replies, quotes and invoicing payment configuration, accounting connections, and accessibility preferences. (Your personal account, covering name, sign-in email, mobile, notifications, and password, is on the separate My Account page.)
Renaming your organisation
- 1
Update the Organisation Name field at the top of the page.
- 2
Click Save. The new name appears in the sidebar and across the app.
- 3
Only owners and admins can rename the organisation.
Updating organisation profile
- 1
Fill in the legal name, ABN, address, phone, email, and website fields.
- 2
These details are used on invoices and may be required for billing.
- 3
Click Save Profile to confirm changes.
Setting your country (and why phone numbers depend on it)
- 1
In Physical address, pick your country from the dropdown next to Postcode. It defaults to Australia.
- 2
That country is how Streams reads every phone number typed anywhere in the app: on a record's phone field, in the SMS "To" box, your mobile number on My Account, and the organisation's primary phone.
- 3
Type numbers the way you normally write them, e.g.
0491 570 006. When you click away, the number is rewritten into full international form (+61491570006), which is what a carrier needs. There is no country flag to pick. - 4
To reach someone overseas, just start the number with + and its country code (e.g.
+64 21 234 567). A number starting with + always keeps its own country, whatever your setting says. - 5
If a number can't be read, you're told straight away rather than at send time. When sending an SMS, a landline is also refused up front, because a landline cannot receive one and the attempt would still cost 30 tokens.
- 6
Changing your country does not alter numbers already saved; they are already stored in international form and keep working.
Who hears about a customer's reply
- 1
Scroll to Reply notifications (owners and admins only).
- 2
A reply on a record that is assigned to somebody always goes to that person, and to nobody else. This setting only decides who hears about a reply on a record nobody owns yet.
- 3
Pick from Owners, Owners and admins (the default), Admins, Everyone in the organisation, One person, or An email address.
- 4
One person nominates a single colleague from a list of everyone in your organisation, which suits one coordinator watching the inbox.
- 5
An email address is typed in and does not have to belong to a Streams user, so a shared enquiries inbox works.
- 6
Everyone in the organisation includes members. On a shared login, one per store say, that means every store hears about every other store's replies, which is why it is not the default.
- 7
Whoever is chosen, each person still has the last word: turning off email notifications on their own My Account page stops these reaching them, and nobody is emailed in their place.
- 8
If the person you nominated later leaves the organisation, the alert falls back to owners and admins rather than going nowhere.
Uploading a company logo
- 1
Scroll to the Company Logo section (visible if the Quotes plugin is active).
- 2
Click Upload or drag and drop a PNG or JPG file (max 2 MB).
- 3
The logo appears on generated quote PDFs and the public quote page.
Accessibility settings
- 1
Scroll to the Accessibility section at the bottom of the page.
- 2
Toggle "Colorblind-friendly palette" to replace red/green/amber indicators with pink/blue/purple for better contrast.
- 3
The setting is saved per-device and takes effect immediately.
Exporting your organisation's data
- 1
Scroll to the "Export organisation data" section (owner/admin only).
- 2
Click "Export data (JSON)" - your browser downloads a single JSON file containing your organisation profile, users, streams, steps and documentation, records and their fields, quotes, invoices (with line items and payments), messages, OCR scans, token ledger, support tickets, and recent activity.
- 3
Secrets are never included - passwords, API key values, and accounting tokens/secrets are excluded.
- 4
Use this for your own records or to satisfy a data-portability request.
Accounting connections
- 1
Enable the providers you use on the Invoicing plugin card at /plugins - under "Accounting integrations" toggle on Xero, MYOB, and/or QuickBooks. Only enabled providers will appear in the stream-level picker and receive invoice syncs. Disabling a provider instantly stops sync to any of its connections (without deleting them).
- 2
Go to Settings - the Accounting Connections section appears at the bottom.
- 3
Create a Xero developer app (developer.xero.com → My Apps → Add a new Xero app):
What people ask about this
- How do I change my organisation's name?
- Where do I update billing contact details?
- How do I upload a company logo?
- Who gets emailed when a customer replies?
- How do I enable colorblind-friendly mode?
- How do I connect Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks?
Inside the app there is an assistant that answers these from your own written process, not just from ours.
